In 2002, Philine von Sell went to South Africa to establish and document art education and exhibition workshops in two townships and one remote rural area, a process that now culminates with an appraisal of the effects of these workshops years later, and with exhibitions abroad that fulfill the broader purpose of the commitment to exhibit to an international public works resulting from this engagement.
